KWIZERA TRADE SCHOOL

Our Trade Schools mission statement is ‘Promoting Self-Reliance and Economic growth’.

The trade skills to be taught are all potential Income Generating Activities within the community and surrounding marketplaces. They are taught to beneficiaries who are willing and ready to work hard to learn. The trade school education is geared towards the unemployed youth and vulnerable women within the communities that we serve. Beneficiaries also receive training in business planning, budgeting, saving and banking. This helps them to prepare for a better future and to have better money management skills to ensure better livelihood when they start to earn a living with their new learned skills.

Some of the objectives of the trade school include:

  • To provide Practical skills development that will create job opportunities to beneficiaries.
  • To ensure self-confidence and self-reliance among beneficiaries.
  • To provide business plan training to beneficiaries that may want to create their own businesses.
  • To bring about behavior change in women’s participation in Income Generating Activities
  • To provide necessary support for marketing of Trade School products
